What’s behind those pasties of burlesque sensation Hazel Honeysuckle? Mr. Skin has the two answers you’ve been looking for. In two different episodes of the Netflix original series House of Cards, hottie Hazel plays stripper Echo, and in a completely topless (no pasties!) twirl around the pole, all was revealed. Too quick a glance? Wait a second and see the starlet a bit closer up in the locker room, still in her dancer’s thong and nothing else. (Some secrets are worth sharing.) Outside of her fledgling acting career, Ms. Honeysuckle can be seen in a number of venues honing her craft as a modern-day burlesque dancer, flashing her generous globes, toned frame, and sweetheart derriere between swipes of feathered accessories. Billed as “The Delicate Flower,” she attended the New York School of Burlesque, and was cast in Erotic Broadway. She has also danced in Las Vegas, performing regularly in Spiegelworld’s long-running hit show Absinthe at Caesar’s Palace, and toured the US with Twirly Whirly Burly-Q and Mason Dixie Burlesque, in addition to making four solo tours through Europe. Hazel also appears in the documentary Getting Naked: A Burlesque Story (2017), revealing the sub-culture of the neo-burlesque scene in New York City (you can find it on a variety of streaming services). She sews her own costumes and tassled pasties—which she can twirl like a champ—and has been named among the Top 50 Burlesque Performers by 21st Century Burlesque multiple years running. Sometimes the tease of is almost as good as the reveal…but not usually, so we’re all grateful for Mr. Skin.
